There are lots of things we can do to help lend our support of getting a velodrome here.
If you have not checked out the article in the Rogue Valley Mail Tribune, it talks about what is already happening and things that we can do to show our interest. We can also write our state representatives to tell them what we think about the idea. Here is a link to that place. A third thing is we could get some outside funding for this project, even a little bit helps.

This is great news and I hope that we can pull together to make this happen. One thing that I think we need to do is educate the general public on where this money is coming from. It is my understanding that it is coming from a lottery fund earmarked for economic development and not a general fund. I have read negative remarks on another forum about funding this when we are cutting other public services. So if someone has more info on the funding of this project please let us know so that we pass it along.
